Job Summary
Sutter Surgical Hospital – North Valley services the Yuba-Sutter community. Our brand new Hospital focuses on providing outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures, as well as MRI outpatient services. We are looking to fill an open On-Call Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist.
The MRI Tech will operate the MRI scanner and support equipment in such a manner as to perform and produce high quality images of specified anatomy. He/she will provide proper patient and visitor screening to ensure the safety of everyone entering the MRI scanning environment. The perfect candidate will complete a thorough evaluation of patient’s medical history, chart notes and order diagnosis for appropriateness of ordered scan. He/she will use independent judgment to maintain continuity of patient care of the highest standards, in an efficient, caring manner.
Requirements:
- Possess valid ARRT registration.
- Current certification in the State of California.
- Must have BLS certification within 60 days of employment.
- IV Certified.
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
- Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards.
- Previous experience is preferred within a hospital setting.
- Computer experience required.
